There’s so little research available for Rare Ovarian Cancer, this ride is a way we can make a direct impact to the lives of those affected by it.

For me, being active is a big part of my life. I’m happiest when I’m outside in the sun. In beautiful places, pushing myself physically and mentally. I’m psyched to be able to channel that energy into a cause that’s close to home for me, with the Reaburn family being dear friends of mine for the past 10 years.

Joining in on the ride is a way I can show support to a family that has always been there for me, with the bonus of being able to spend the week with great people.

I’ll admit, I’m somewhat nervous to be on the bike. I have a love/hate relationship with cycling, which I discovered during a recent cycle tour through South America. A few flipped bikes and choice words developed into an appreciation for cycling as a way to travel. And as a hobby.

Being able to combine my newfound love of cycling, as well as my love and support to the Reaburn family and this cause, is a dream!

What a fantastic cause to be supporting, I really hope things go well for your friend’s family and they get a lift from all of you doing a big ride together. Hats off to you!
