Stephen is hosting a Charity Event Dinner to raise money for Rare Ovarian Cancer Incorporated (ROC Inc.) for research into Granulosa Cell Tumour (GCT), a rare ovarian cancer that affects females of all ages. Stephen’s 22-year-old daughter Katelyn was diagnosed with GCT at 19 years old. GCT previously has received little research to be able understand the cancer for treatment options.
The event will be at the Hawkesbury Function Centre, 339 Londonderry Rd, Londonderry, NSW on the 27th October 2023 from 6.30pm to 11pm. The Charity Event will include a 2 course meal, Raffle tickets, Trivia, Auction Items and lots of fun!
This event is part of Stephens fundraising efforts for ROC Inc’s Ride 4 Research (R4R) in March 2024 to create a greater awareness for ovarian cancer while raising funds to help research to find treatment options and one day a cure. The R4R24 is an event where cyclists cover over 600km over 5 days.
