Today on Jill Emberson’s birthday and her public memorial, we would like to thank Alison from channel 10 that has created and released a powerful video and an important message for ovarian cancer awareness and pay tribute to Jill. Awareness Wings makes a flutter at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research

Rare Ovarian Cancer Inc’s (ROC Inc) beautiful Ovarian cancer Awareness Wings made the flight down to the @Hudson Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne recently. Each feather features some of the more common symptoms of ovarian cancer to increase awareness. Over 75% of women are diagnosed with advanced stage cancer, where it has spread, making it difficult to treat. There is no early detection test for ovarian cancer and no real treatment for Granulosa Cell Tumours (GCT), a rare ovarian cancer. Warilla Preschool ROC’s for ovarian cancer awareness.

The children from Warilla Baptist Preschool painted rocks to take home and place out into the community to be found, to create awareness for ovarian cancer and it’s symptoms and raise money for vital research. Each child painted and created their own beautiful and unique rock that had an awareness message label on the back about the Facebook group Rock for Roc group.
