Emily Paterson

My name is Emily Paterson. I am a local General Practitioner and I love riding bikes. This year I have committed to push myself on the bike for Rare Ovarian Cancer research. As a GP I look after a lot of women and I see firsthand the impact that these sorts of diseases have. As well as training for this slightly insane event – around 700km in 5 days riding, I have committed to raise $5000 for research into this condition with the goal to help reduce the impact it has on the lives of those unlucky enough to develop it.

This has started with my own $800 donation. I am grateful to those who help me on this journey – train with me so I can achieve the ride distance or contribute financially to the fundraising goal.
